Bucharest: Community Pulse is the first implementation of the Vital Signs data gathering and research methodology in Romania. It is helpful in identifying, measuring and prioritizing issues that face the community.
I think projects like these are sorely needed and when I was tasked with creating the communication package I found myself acutely aware of the importance and even more involved than usual.

The website was created to help spread the word about the report, be a reference resource, make for easily searcheable information to be available, be a platform that shares news and editorials. It helps keep the project going with fresh information and community feedback.

The design is structured so that information is easy to read and understand. Responsive top to bottom so that data is readable on any screen. With highlights like "did you know that?" and editorial sections which provide both byte sized and long reads that are a good fit for sharing.

The platform is intended to be easily scaled, with subdomains for each community foundation that wants to implement the methodology in their community.

Visually, I used the general shape of the city map as an anchor that positions data and content in relation with the observed city.
